Review Round-Up Wednesday

Hey Gang,

In an effort to keep you coming back to this page we are going to collect some of the Filmageddon teams recent reviews.

All of the team are signed up to Letterboxd, a great website in which you can go and review a film once you’ve seen it, follow others to see their reviews and all that social media-y type stuff. If you love films and like reviewing then get yourself signed up if you aren’t already.

Anyway, what has the team watched this past week? Let’s have a look.

WHAT. A. FILM.

It’s no shock that as a huge fan of the Rocky series (sans V) that this film pulled all the right strings for me.

Stallone was great and there was several times that I was on the verge of tears.

The filming of the fight scenes also felt fresh and brought back the intense, cannon-like punches that were sorely missed in ‘Rocky Balboa’. It felt like every punch could have sent the opponents head into the third row.

Not sure I’d want to see a sequel but as it’s going to come regardless of what I want I’ll be sure to see it anyway and hope that like Rocky II, Creed II ups the game.

Creed IV to feature unstoppable ISIS boxer? Only time will tell.

The magnum opus of the body swap films – joining the pantheon of other giants in the genre such as Freaky Friday, It’s A Boy Girl Thing and The Hot Chick.

This film was fucking awesome. Everything about it. Every actor. Every minute. Every punch. Every step.

COYB.

Up the fucking Toffees.

Once a blue always a blue.

So there you have it, some quick thoughts about some films we’ve seen recently.

We’re not exactly reinventing the wheel here folks…but hey if you enjoyed this little snippet then get yourself over to Letterboxd and start following the team for more of our asinine reviews. We’ll give you a follow right back and maybe even feature your review in a future Review Round-Up Wednesday! Or not.
